I'm the wife of a wonderful man named Jon, and the mother of 3 beautiful boys. While my first son was very young, I was a computer programming consultant, working long hours with a 2-4 hour commute every day. I was tired of missing out on his "firsts" and missed spending time with both him and my husband.

Fast forward 2 more boys and lots of long hours at work. A friend of mine asked me to come work in his department as a full-time employee working from home. I jumped at the chance to spend more time with my family. I started crafting, including candle and jewelry making as a hobby. I sold them at craft fairs for holiday cash and for little extras for the family.

While at a craft sale a little more than a year ago, a woman (who is now also a dear friend of mine) introduced me to her Mobile Spa business. l really didn't want to have people over my house, since I was "so busy". But she insisted that it would do me a world of good, so I finally agreed. I invited my friends and family, and the evening was a great success. Since I loved everything I saw that night, I purchased a set that allowed me to get future discounts on all of the products.

Shortly after that, my company announced huge paycuts, mine was almost 50%. It was then that I realized that I couldn't depend on an even stable company to provide for my family. I also realized that even though I was working from home, I was still tied to an 8-5 job. I couldn't go on field trips with the kids unless I took "time off" from work. And I sometimes couldn't go on vacation when I wanted because someone else had requested the same week. I realized it was time for a change.

And there I was, back to that set that I purchased 3 months before. Could that set be the freedom that I was looking for? Could that set mean the difference between happiness and just existing? Absolutely!!!! With that magic set, I was able to start my own mobile spa business and take back control of my time. I had control of my life back!

My dream was to be able to take the time whenever I needed to do whatever I needed to, but still make full time $$$. My dream was to be in control of my own destiny, what's your dream?
